    Has Anyone Tried Flotation Therapy?

Figured Id post this in here since flotation therapy is used for meditation and as alternative medicine and other things such as accelerated learning.

There is a spa about 20 minutes north of me that offers it, and I plan on going in the near future.

Has anyone here tried it? What was your experience? Did you like it? Any recommendations?

Here is a link for anyone who is not sure what Im talking about:

    Cheers,

Theres a place in Delray that offers it. $90 for a 90 minute session. Going to try it out - seems pretty interesting.

I've tried floating a few times now. It is a great way to relax and quiet your mind with no outside stimulus. I highly recommend it!

Whether you use it for meditation purposes or not, the sensory deprivation is designed to shut off Cortisol (stress hormone) production. Excessive amounts of Cortisol can be very damaging to the human body and can trigger a whole host of problems....Weight gain, low energy, insomnia, lowered immune system, impaired thinking.

As entrepreneurs, high levels of stress occur more often than not, so in order to operate at our best at all times it is important that we manage this stress (and Cortisol levels) efficiently.
